
Expander would help compensate for their population growth, and has an upgrade that combos well with the rogue, buffing irregulars (It's either the +movement or +sight range, I forget which).

Many others will say that arch-druid is good, because of the whole "put trees anywhere" deal, as well as hunters benefitting from almost every archer buff (of which the Elven Patron system has many, even specifying hunters in the first tier one).īoth of those strategies go much deeper than that, of course, but I'm really not familiar enough with them to say anything particularly useful.Īs for spheres, I tend to base that more on class than race. If you've played the first campaign, you'll have encoutered this. Certain people on my friends list (you know who you are) will suggest Elven Rogues, because their bards are extremely good (they get the longbow ability, instead of the crossbow).
